Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Mellow Isle: Nonogram iOS app provided by Nicechann Studio.
1. General principles
Mellow Isle does not require an account operated by Nicechann Studio. The app does not directly collect your name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, or other personal information while you play.
2. Game data stored on your device
The app stores information needed to provide its game features, which may include:
- Puzzle progress and board state
- Completion records, scores, mistakes, and play time
- Daily puzzle stamps and island restoration progress
- App settings and locally cached purchase status
This information is stored locally on your device and is not sent to a separate account server operated by Nicechann Studio. You can remove it through Reset Progress in the app or by deleting the app and its data.
3. Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Mellow Isle does not include a separate third-party analytics SDK or Game Center integration. The free version of the app uses Google Mobile Ads SDK to provide banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements, and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage advertising privacy choices where required.
Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and Google’s advertising settings, Google may process information such as IP address and approximate location, device or app identifiers, advertising data, app and advertisement interactions, crash logs, diagnostics, and performance data for advertising delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and service operation. This processing is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
Where required, the app provides an advertising privacy options entry in Settings so you can review or change available consent choices. Purchasing the Pro upgrade removes ads from the app after the App Store purchase entitlement has been verified.
As of the effective date, the app does not request Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency permission. Nicechann Studio does not independently combine advertising data with information from other companies to track you across apps or websites.
4. In-app purchases
In-app purchases and purchase restoration are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Nicechann Studio does not directly collect or store your Apple ID, credit-card number, or payment-method information. Apple’s terms and privacy policy apply to purchase processing.
5. Support communications
If you contact Nicechann Studio by email, we receive the email address, message, and any screenshots, recordings, device details, or other information you choose to provide. This information is used only to respond to the request, investigate the issue, and maintain necessary support records. You may request deletion of support correspondence by contacting us.
6. Website hosting
The Mellow Isle marketing, support, and privacy pages are hosted through GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical request information such as IP address, browser, and device information to operate and secure its hosting service. That processing is governed by GitHub’s own privacy terms.
7. Data retention and deletion
- Local game data remains on the device until it is reset or the app’s data is removed.
- App Store transaction records are retained by Apple according to Apple’s policies.
- Advertising-related data processed by Google is retained and deleted according to Google’s policies and your available privacy choices.
- Support emails may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to respond, resolve issues, and maintain support records.
8. Security
Mellow Isle uses Apple platform protections such as the app sandbox and system storage controls. No electronic storage method can guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s privacy
Mellow Isle does not require children or other users to create a Nicechann Studio account or directly provide a name or email address to play. The advertising services described above may process limited device and advertising data. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information through a support email may contact us to request deletion.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when app features, external services, or applicable requirements change. The effective date on this page will be revised when material changes are made.
