How does iCloud sync work?
Turn on iCloud Sync in Settings to keep your entries and photos on every device signed in to the same Apple ID. Your data stays in your own private iCloud; it never goes to our servers. On a new device, photos download automatically and may take a moment depending on your network.
How do I back up or move my data?
Open Settings → Backup / Restore → File backup. “Export” creates a single file with your entries and original photos that you can save anywhere (Files, AirDrop, email). On another device, use “Import” and choose that file — importing merges into your current data without erasing anything.
I changed devices. How do I restore?
If iCloud Sync was on, sign in with the same Apple ID and your data syncs back automatically. Otherwise, use File backup: export from the old device, then import the file on the new one.
How do I lock the app?
Open Settings → App Lock and enable it. NoteGarden then uses Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode to unlock. No biometric data is collected.
Can I get reminders to write?
Yes. Allow notifications during onboarding, or enable the daily reminder in Settings. Notifications are used only for journaling and backup reminders.
Which languages are supported?
English, 日本語, and 한국어. NoteGarden follows your device language automatically.
Is there a charge or any ads?
NoteGarden is a paid app with no ads and no tracking. It’s a one-time purchase through the App Store.
