No separate account is required to use the app.
1. Information collection
MellowCut is a video editing app provided by Nicechann Studio. The app does not require account registration and does not collect or transmit your photos, videos, voice recordings, or identifying personal information to developer servers. It does not use advertising tracking or third-party analytics SDKs.
2. Photos, videos, and projects
Photos and videos you select or capture, imported audio, voice recordings, and editing projects are processed on your device and stored in the app’s local storage. Depending on your actions, exported videos are saved to your photo library or passed to the system share sheet. Services you choose to share with handle data according to their own policies.
3. Permissions
Photo Library access is used to select media and save finished videos. Camera access is used when you start capturing media. Microphone access is used for voice recordings and capture with sound. Speech Recognition access is used to generate automatic captions, using only on-device recognition on supported devices and languages. You can change permissions in iOS Settings. Denying permission may limit the related features.
4. Local settings and storage
The app stores editing preferences, tutorial progress, and a cache of Pro purchase entitlement on your device. It checks available storage space for importing and exporting media. This information is not transmitted to developer servers.
5. In-app purchases
MellowCut Pro is a one-time in-app purchase through Apple’s StoreKit. Apple handles payments and purchase restoration. The developer does not receive or store payment details such as card numbers. Apple platform services are subject to Apple’s privacy policy.
6. Retention and deletion
Projects remain in app storage until you delete them. Deleting a project in Media Storage in the app’s settings also removes its stored media. Deleting the app removes its local data, but files exported to your photo library or other locations must be deleted separately. Device and iCloud backups are managed according to your Apple settings.
7. Support requests
If you contact us by email, we use your email address, message, and any attachments you provide to investigate and respond. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. You may request deletion of your support materials using the email address below.
8. Children’s privacy
The app does not require personal profiles from users, including children, and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you have a concern.
9. This website
This marketing and support website is hosted on GitHub Pages. We have not added separate analytics tools or advertising cookies to these pages. The hosting provider may process access information, including IP addresses, to operate and secure its service.
