Privacy, clearly explained.
This policy describes how PinDeck handles information on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

PinDeck is designed so that your cards and memo content can be used without creating a separate PinDeck account. The way information is processed depends on the platform and features you choose to use.
1. Cards, memos, and app settings
Your PinDeck cards, memos, completion state, and related app settings are stored locally on your device. NICECHANN STUDIO does not operate a separate cloud account system or developer-owned server for your PinDeck note content.
If you enable iCloud sync, your PinDeck data is synchronized through Apple iCloud / CloudKit and is associated with your Apple Account. Apple processes that data under Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.
2. Advertising on iPhone and iPad
The free iOS/iPadOS version of PinDeck may display advertising using Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and ad availability, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as:
- Device or advertising identifiers
- Approximate location derived from device or network information
- Advertising data and ad interactions
- Product interaction and app activity used for advertising or measurement
- Performance and crash diagnostics
Where required, PinDeck uses Google’s consent tools and Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework before advertising-related tracking is permitted. You can change the app’s tracking permission later in iOS/iPadOS Settings.
PinDeck Pro removes ads. When PinDeck determines that the user is entitled to an ad-free experience, the app does not request banner ads for that experience.

3. Mac version
The Mac version of PinDeck does not include advertising or tracking SDKs. It may use Apple platform services that you enable, such as iCloud and system authentication.
4. Apple services and permissions
iCloud / CloudKit
If you enable iCloud sync, Apple processes the synchronized PinDeck data so it can be available across your devices.
StoreKit
Purchases and purchase restoration are processed by Apple through the App Store. PinDeck receives entitlement information needed to determine whether Pro features are available; NICECHANN STUDIO does not receive your payment card details.
Calendar and Reminders
When you choose a feature that uses Apple Calendar or Reminders, PinDeck requests the relevant system permission. The app uses that access only to perform the action you requested, such as exporting a memo or linking an item. Availability varies by platform and app version.
App Lock / Biometrics
Biometric authentication is handled by Apple’s system APIs. PinDeck does not receive or store your Touch ID, Face ID, fingerprint, facial image, or biometric template.
5. Diagnostics
On iOS/iPadOS, advertising-related SDKs may process crash or performance diagnostics as described above. Apple may also provide developers with aggregated diagnostic information according to your device analytics settings. PinDeck does not use your memo text as advertising content.
6. Data retention and deletion
Local PinDeck data remains on your device until you delete the related content or remove the app, subject to device backups and operating-system behavior. When iCloud sync is enabled, deleting cards or memos in PinDeck is synchronized through iCloud. Apple may retain information according to its own retention and backup policies.
Information processed by Google for advertising is retained and deleted according to Google’s policies and your consent / account settings. You can also disable tracking permission for PinDeck in iOS/iPadOS Settings.
7. Third-party sharing
PinDeck does not sell your memo content. Information may be processed by service providers only as required for features you use, including Apple services and, on the free iOS/iPadOS version, Google Mobile Ads and related consent/advertising services.
8. Children
PinDeck is a general-purpose productivity app and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Advertising and consent behavior may vary based on region, device settings, and platform requirements.
9. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when PinDeck’s features, platform services, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
